Once it warmed up and the snow all melted, we were ready to head outside and enjoy some fresh air. So, we decided to hike the "Y". Ryan took me once when I was 8 months pregnant with Hayden. I made it about 5 minutes and then called it quits. this time we took all 3 kids and made it to the top! It is crazy steep, and there was whining from the kids and me, but we made it and enjoyed the beautiful view from the top!

For Christmas Natalie's family gave us passes to go tubing at Soldier Hollow. We headed up in February and had a BLAST! It was so fun. We can't wait to go again next year.
Ryan loves skiing and wants the kids to love it, too. He took them a couple of times in 2012, and then we decided to put them in ski school this year. They loved it and did a great job! Brooklyn was too little, but she loved playing in the snow while we waited. There will definitely be more skiing in their future!

Christmas!
On the Sunday before Christmas, we got all dressed up for church. Don't we look spiffy. Hayden loves having her hair curled. Ryan stayed home with sick Brookie.
On the 23rd we met Sean and his kids at Thanksgiving Point to visit the Reindeer. That walked right passed us and then we visited them in their pen. The kids LOVED this!
On Christmas Eve the kids got their traditional pajamas from the Elves. Hayden had been dying for a nightgown. Brooklyn was not too happy about the situation. Cole got super hero jammas, so he was happy!
I'm sad this picture from Christmas morning is so blurry, but I had to post it. I love the sheer excitement! Cole with his hands up and Hayden's huge smile. Christmas is so much more fun through a child's eyes!
Hayden asked Santa for a giant panda, and was so excited she actually got it. She named him Bob.
Cole asked Santa for walkie talkies. They broke the same day, so he got a new set. The new set isn't super hero, so it's not so great, but it will do ;)
Ryan was so sweet. He saw these character blankets at Costco (Ryan's favorite store), and had to buy one for each of the kids. They were his special present for each of them, and they all love them!
Ryan's surprise present was a PS4. He had no clue he was getting it, and was super excited!
Later that day, we all got cleaned up and attempted the Christmas family picture.
Ryan set the timer on the camera, and Brookie jumped up before we could grab her. Ha, I love her!
Our cute family
(including Bob)
We took a break between opening stockings and opening presents to read some scriptures and to remember what Christmas is really about, Jesus Christ. I'm so grateful that I can teach my children about Christ's birth and for that special knowledge we have of our Savior!
Later that day, Darin and Sean's families came over to hang out and have Christmas dinner together. It was such a great day!

Christmas Program!
The first graders had a Christmas program.
They sang lots of fun songs, and Hayden did most of the actions.
She gets a little nervous, but she did a great job!
It's always so fun to watch my kids perform and have fun.
| Cole being silly while we waited for the program to start. Brooklyn was probably running wild in the aisles ;) |

Winter Fun!
We had a lot of fun over the winter.
There was plenty of snow,
and the kids all loved heading out to play in it! Then coming in to warm up with some hot chocolate!
We did some holiday food crafts, including string cheese snowmen, and ice cream cone trees with cousins!
