Kids

We started our summer off with lots of snow cones and trips to the splash pad/park.

Brooklyn wasn't always too sure about the water, but she loved running around in her swimsuit.
Before Hayden got out of school, her class had a week of special days. One of the days was "Circus Day", and Hayden had the perfect dress. We made her in to a mime. We had talked about it and looked at pictures online for a week straight, and she was beyond excited. Until I actually painted her face. Then she was horrified and didn't want to leave the house. She was so embarrassed, but I made her go to school like that anyway, because I knew she would like it once she got there. I was right. She won for the best dress up that day!
One day Brooklyn brought a bowl of cinnamon toast crunch in the car when we went to pick up Hayden from school. I turned around and looked at her when we got there and she was covered in sugar! It was everywhere. We don't take cinnamon toast crunch with us places anymore :)

This picture is so old, but I don't think I ever posted it. Even if I did, it's definitely cute enough to post again. It was taken back in October 2013. A lady posted on facebook that she needed toddler girls to model her headbands and rompers. I immediately responded and Brooklyn got to play model for a day. The lady commented on how busy Brooklyn is and how difficult it was to get a good picture, because she was so wiggly. She got this beauty though. I love those big brown eyes!

Cole's Preschool Graduation

Cole graduated from his 2nd year of preschool back in May. He was so adorable. I lost my camera since then so this is the only picture I have. So sad! The kids sang lots of songs and told us about what they had learned. This was Cole's 2nd year with Ms. Mallory at the Little Star Academy. All of the kids were the same, too, so he just loved preschool. We were both sad when it ended!

Gymnastics

Hayden is now doing gymnastics at the Lehi Legacy Center. She did a performance back in May and did a great job. She loves gymnastics and is very confident. I love watching her. After this performance she advanced to level 2. I'm so sad my pictures all turned out so blurry. This is the best one I got.
Cole and Brooklyn are the supportive siblings!
The cute siblings on the way to cheer on Hayden! Brooklyn used to pull her arms out of the carseat straps constantly. No matter how tight it was, she could still weasel her way out. I was always turning around trying to force her arms back in. Thankfully that is a thing of the past!

T-Ball Playing Cole!

Cole played T-Ball this year and loved it! It was so much better than watching him play soccer. He is pretty good, even though he had his cast on most of the games. He liked hitting and playing first base the best.
When we got his picture package back, the individual picture was some random kid we have never seen before. I called the place. They fixed it and sent us a new sheet. Cole took it and displayed it in his room very proudly! Unfortunately, now I can't find it. I'm so sad, because it was the cutest picture of him, with his little red cast. Oh well, this is the team picture with the random kid cut off the top :)

I had to throw in this picture, because I just love it.
Cole had cowboy day at preschool and looked so cute!

Mother's Day!

I love being a mom! I love these three cuties and the fun we have together!
They can be so silly you can't help but smile.
I mean seriously aren't they adorable! They took a break from their dance party to let me snap a picture :)
Ryan made my day super special by waiting on me hand and foot and by surprising me with Giordanos pizza!!

Tulips!

Ryan's work has passes to Thanksgiving point that employees can check out, so back at the beginning of may we checked out the passes and went to the tulip festival. I love tulips, because they are gorgeous. Ryan loves tulips, because they remind him of the Netherlands. And the kids love running around. So, we had a lot of fun. The kids got drenched in a fountain before any pictures could be taken.
My wet, cute girls. One with a messy face! Cole was busy playing.

Mischief Maker

Brooklyn is a bundle of fun! Sometimes she is a little mischief maker.
One morning I was doing the dishes, and Brooklyn was playing. Then Hayden and Cole started yelling about how green Brooklyn was. Green? Oh yeah, she's green all right! She had found a green marker and decided to eat it!
I cleaned it off as well as I could, but that is one stubborn "washable" marker. Later that day she fell asleep while we were picking up the kids from school. There's still a trace of green!
 She loves ice cream!

And she loves being silly!

Broken Bone and the Park!

Cole broke his arm! I never would have guessed that he would be my first child to break a bone, because he is our most cautious child for sure! But he was running and tripped on the sidewalk and landed on his arm. he complained about the pain, but not extremely, so we didn't take him in to the doctor until the next day. Yep, it was broken. They wrapped it up and then we had to wait 10 days before they put the hard cast on him, but he didn't let it stop him at all!

The week he broke his arm was so beautiful, especially for April, that we had to go to the park, even with a broken arm.

Cole and Brooklyn had a blast enjoying the sunshine and playing to their hearts content :) Poor Hayden was still in school so she missed out!

Museum of Natural Curiosity

They opened a new museum at Thanksgiving Point called The Museum of Natural Curiosity and it is so fun!
Ryan's work is one of the sponsors, so they have passes we can check out. They also had a preview night for all US Synthetic employees.
Brooklyn went through a faze where she smiled like this in every picture. What a goof!

There's a rope path up above the play area and part of it leads to a plane that Cole thought was pretty cool!
After checking out the inside, we headed outside to the fun playground. We spent a couple hours there and then were all museumed out. We could have spent an entire day with how much stuff there is to do there!
We've been a few times since, and always have a great time!

Easter Egg Hunt

A fun family in our neighborhood hosts an Easter egg hunt every year. We were out of town last year, so were excited to make it this year.
Brooklyn wasn't sure what to think about it all.
and Cole and Hayden couldn't wait to see what all they got.
Hayden was being too cool to look at the camera.

Wheeler Farm

 We love Wheeler Farm!
The kids can run free, see animals, play on the playground, feed birds, ride the wagon, and collect rocks. Good times :)

Fun with cousins

Aaron and Annette brought their family to town in April during their Spring Break. They stayed with us and we had a lot of fun. We went to the movies and saw The Lego Movie, which is awesome!
Another day we checked out Scheels and all of the fun stuff they have going on there.

Damon, Easton, Sean
Makayla, Brynli
Hayden, Ivy
There was also swimming, Trafalga, Waffle Luv, movie night, and lots of playing. We always have a blast when they come to visit!
