Giving Thanks!

I decided to work at Walmart as a cashier for a few weeks over the holidays to earn a little extra money. I started the end of October and worked until December 20th. The first few weeks were great. The last few weeks were harder, but it really wasn't as bad as I expected. I did have to work on Thanksgiving, though. I worked 9-4, while Ryan held down the fort and prepared and cooked all of our dinner! I seriously have the world's best husband! Seriously.

 He did a great job, too! Everything was delicious, and it was nice to spend the evening with our little family and think about all we've been blessed with!

I'm thankful for all of my blessings, and I know I am so very blessed by my loving Heavenly Father. I'm especially grateful that he led me to Ryan and trusts us with these three amazing kids!

Pumpkins!

Ryan's work had pumpkin patch this year. We met up with Natalie's family and picked some pumpkins. (I don't know what happened to all of my pictures with Natalie's kids)

 After picking out the perfect pumpkins, we painted and carved them. Cole made a very happy pumpkin!

 Ryan, Hayden, and I used stencils this year.  They did an awesome cat and I did the ghosty!

Evan's Farm

I love the fall! I like the crisp air and the fun activities!

 In October we took the kids to the Evan's family farm. It was a chilly day, but we had so much fun.

 The kids did the train ride,

 ran through the cornmaze,

Aren't they the sweetest!

 played in hay,

 and checked out the animals.

 Brooklyn loved the animals, especially the baby pig. She did not want to leave his side.

This is sure to become a family tradition for years to come!

Fire Station

 In October Cole got to go on a field trip with his class to the Eagle Mountain Fire Department. We took a tour of the fire station. 

 The kids got to try on the helmets, and get in the truck.

 Cole and Mac even got to take a picture with a real fire fighter!

Cole thought this field trip was so cool. Now 7 months later, he still mentions how he went on a field trip there when we drive by.

Brooklyn just hung out in her stroller, being cute!

Missionaries!

 On October 6, 2013 Mom and Dad were set apart as missionaries. Family and friends gathered together to support them in this great experience!

Halloween 2013

We had a fun Halloween. We all dressed up for our ward trunk-or-treat. 

Cole was Iron Man. (this was after a lot of his paint had smeared)

Ryan was a pirate. I was so shocked that Ryan let me paint his face! Dressing up is not his favorite thing, but he's such a good sport!

The girls were all cats! 

On Halloween day, Hayden and Cole got to dress up for school.

 We went and cheered for Hayden at her school parade. The little witch behind her is her good friend, Haylie.

 Cole was Hulk this time.

 Sean and Brittany brought their kids over for dinner and then we all went trick or treating around our neighborhood.

The kids got a lot of candy and had a lot of fun, so Halloween was a success!

Tubes!

On October 22, 2013 Brooklyn got tubes put in her ears. She had been getting ear infections about every other week. Hayden and Cole both had tubes, and they made a wonderful difference! She had to be at the Provo hospital bright and early. She wasn't supposed to eat or drink anything for 12 hours before. While we were getting everything together that morning, Brooklyn found a sippy cup of milk from the night before. She took one little sip and then Ryan grabbed it from her. Because of that one little sip, the doctor made us wait an extra 2 hours before doing the surgery. That was not fun with a tired little 1 year old. But everything turned out fine and the tubes have been so great!
