Battle Creek Falls

On Labor Day, we took a hike at Battle Creek Falls with Adam and Shylo, Sean and Brittany, and Calley and Josh.
It was so great to be outside enjoying the beautiful, Utah scenery. The kids were most excited about all of the caterpillars they found.
When we were done, we were all a mess, so we know a good time was had.
We followed up the hike with shakes at JCW's.
It was a fun day!

Blessing

Brooklyn's blessing was on September 2nd in our new ward, Cedar Pass 15th.
Ryan did an excellent job and was glad to have both our dads, Darin, Adam, Sean, Jeffrey and Cody help him.
Brooklyn cried through most of it, so the blessing was short and sweet.
At picture time before church, the kids were not cooperating.
Brooklyn is such a sweetheart and looked so beautiful in her blessing dress. She wore the same dress and bracelet that Hayden wore for her blessing.

She also wore these adorable booties Aunt Linda made for her.
(Don't know why the picture insists on being sideways)

After church, we headed back to our house to change. We took a couple of family pictures, unfortunately, we didn't realize the lighting was bad in all of them. But we were all there, so that's what important, I guess :)
Brynli at the top!
After changing, we headed to Neptune park for a luncheon. It is an awesome park and we all had a blast hanging out and enjoying the wonderful day!

Anika, Cole, Hayden, Sophie, Sara, Colin, Isaac

Grammy, Grampa, Megan, Brooklyn, Tailyr, Linda, Lindsey
Even Grampa got in on the action.
This swing is awesome! Anika was really getting people going. It was so fun.
So, Brooklyn had a wonderful blessing from her daddy, we got to spend the beautiful day with family and have a bunch of fun!
It was a great day and we love our little Brookie Baby!

K and Pre-K

Hayden started Kindergarten on August 28th. She was excited, but a little nervous.
We moved into our house on the same day, so there was a lot going on. But we made it to the school in time to take a few pictures. I can't believe she is already in kindergarten! I didn't cry when we dropped her, because she's been going to preschool and I knew she would love kindergarten. I was a little worried, because she was nervous and I wanted her to be confident and love it.
I didn't need to worry- she is making friends and learning lots. Her teacher is Mrs. Peterson, and so far she really likes her.
On September 4th, Cole started preschool. He goes Tuesday and Thursday mornings. He LOVES it!! He has been waiting for a year to start preschool and it couldn't have come fast enough. He even wears his backpack around the house and sometimes when we go out. He loves being a big boy who goes to school.
His preschool is down the street, at his teachers home. His teacher is Ms. Mallory. He loves all the projects and songs.
I hope my kids always love school so much!

Thanksgiving Point Gardens

My Aunt Christy came to town to visit and to help us get moved in. While she was here, we went to the gardens at Thanksgiving Point. It was a beautiful, and hot, day!
Hayden enjoyed posing for pictures.
Hayden and Cole had fun rolling down the big hill. Cole doesn't really know how to do it. It was pretty funny watching him try to figure it out.
It was so nice having Auntie Christy here and we really enjoyed the time we had with her!

Smiles :)

Brooklyn is growing up so fast and she is so smiley! She first smiled about a month ago and has been ever since. There have even been a few laughs, which I love.
She turned 3 months last week. She is such a sweet, happy, content little thing. She hardly ever cries, and only for a reason. She's quick to smile and loves attention.
She is a great sleeper. She sleeps for an 8-10 hour stretch, eats, then goes back to sleep for a couple more hours. I know, I'm lucky.
She doesn't growl and snort as much as she used to :(
She may never learn to roll over or crawl, because she never gets put down. There is always someone anxious to hole her.
We love this little girl!

3 Year Old!

This handsome,
Silly,
Fun Dude, turned 3!
He is on a spiderman craze so he woke up to spiderman balloons.
Then we headed over to Grampa's for a motorcycle ride. About 6 months ago, Cole saw a motorcycle and asked for one for his birthday. Trying to be a nice mom, I said maybe. After that, every time Cole saw a motorcycle, he said, "I'm getting a motorcycle for my birthday!!" Sorry, but a ride on a motorcycle is the best he got....
He and Hayden both loved it!
He opened a present from Grammy and Grampa- a spiderman that shoots webs. Later that night we went to the dinosaur museum with Brynli and Brogan. Afterward, we had cake with Grandma and Grandpa Woodland and Cole got an awesome dinosaur that transforms into a car!
Cole pretty much had a week of celebration. On Saturday, he had a swim party at G and G's. Auntie Christy was even in town. Cole got cupcakes with spiderman rings. He didn't want to blow out the candle, I'm not just stealing his thunder!!
He got spoiled with more spiderman and dinosaurs. His 2 favorite things!
Look at this little Diva!! (She stayed in her suit long enough for pictures, then had a melt down and the suit was quickly removed!)
Auntie Christy was nice enough to give Hayden a present, too. Hello Kitty, one of her favorite things. Hayden rocked the leg warmers ;)
We love our 3 year old. He really is so fun! He's a busy boy and such a talker!
Here are some of his favorite things at 3 years old....

toy- choo choo trains and spiderman
